Our recent trip to Bilbao, Spain, provided an enriching cultural experience. This country offers an abundance of inspiration with its distinctive old town streets filled with amazing architecture of the Basque region.

 

A trip to Bilboa just isn't complete without a stop at the Guggenheim! It's a massive hub for modern and contemporary art, one of Spain's biggest! The brainchild of Canadian Architect Frank Gehry, this audacious, cutting-edge structure, decked out in titanium and limestone, is jaw-droppingly grand!

 

Our Journey through from inspiration to creation

 

In our journey through art, we were captivated by the curves and structures in sculptures and paintings, matching the exterior of the building itself.

Concentrating on distinct areas, we saw the art from a refreshing angle. Even if you aren't initially drawn to a piece, focusing on specific parts can unfold its exciting and inspiring aspects, bringing a whole new dimension to designing.

Ever noticed how curves give off a vibe of gentle grace, fluidity, and natural elegance? In contrast, lines are all about pinpoint accuracy, sturdy structure, and architectural strength!  With this in mind, we can't wait to get going in the studio.
