About CocoBloom and founder Lisa Berridge

WATCH OUR STORY

CocoBloom is a hand-painted textile print studio at Thames Side Studios in London, founded by Lisa Berridge. Lisa has nearly 30 years' experience in printed textiles, including six years as Print Manager at Jigsaw. She set up CocoBloom to offer brands a different way to buy print: original artwork, made by hand and sold exclusively.

The studio designs for fashion and luxury interiors brands, and has worked with Jigsaw, Jaeger, ME+EM, Joseph, Hobbs, Triumph, Christy Lynn and Anthropologie.

Every design starts as a sketch and is painted by hand. Much of the collection is then hand screen-printed, and we do our own devorés, dye mixing and layered surface techniques.

This gives each print a depth and texture that's hard to reproduce digitally.

We don't copy patterns or offer sister prints. Each original design is sold exclusively to one client, so your brand keeps its individuality and no competitor can buy the same artwork.

Designs are shown in colourways that work across the seasons.

Appointments are face to face and organised by colour group, so buyers can see the range of the collection and how prints work together.

We also take bespoke commissions, designed to your brief and colour palette.

Fractional design and guest speaking

Fractional print design and consultancy. Lisa also works inside brands as a fractional print designer and consultant, bringing nearly 30 years of print experience to your team for as long as you need it. That might mean setting the print direction for a season, developing a collection, or supporting an in-house design team.

University guest speaker. Lisa speaks at universities including Manchester and Bournemouth, sharing her experience of the print industry and passing traditional techniques on to the next generation of designers.
